In accordance with the principle of transparency; Scientific committee evaluation and presentation scores of all participants will be notified to their parties. Pursuant to the same principle; If the scientific committee member does not evaluate the relevant study on time, the organizing committee will evaluate the study.

The entire evaluation process regarding the more transparent execution of the relevant process is shared with the public in detail. In this context, the table above shows how the final process is calculated in general. In this demonstration, it is important to explain the scientific evaluation process in more detail.

The scientific evaluation process is evaluated according to the “double-blind referee” method and the average of both scores is taken. In this context, the “Scientific Evaluation” process is carried out in 3 sub-processes as “Scientific Review, Plagiarism and Written Language”.

First of all, in this field, which is calculated over 100 points, the scientific evaluation of the thesis, which covers an area of 50 points, is made by the referees. This is actually called “Scientific Analysis” within the total score of 100 points and includes 50% of the total over 10 basic questions.

Then, “Plagiarism” reports are received by an independent agent using the Turnitin program. This report has a weight of 30 points to be added to the “Scientific Review”. However, in the calculation process, it is weighted on a 100-point scale (100 x (1 – Plagiarism Rate)). Receiving 30% of this score is actually equivalent to maintaining 30 points of weight.

Finally, a scoring is made in the “Writing Language”, which has been put into practice as of 2022. In this context, it is aimed to increase the habit of coding, especially in social sciences, by supporting all participants not only as competitors, but also by supporting their learning processes. According to the relevant plans, as of March 12, 2022, a total of 12 courses will be taught in LaTeX language. Learning this language also has a weighted rating on current Microsoft Word usage. The writing process via LaTeX or MS Word will be calculated with a total weight of 20 points. If the participant used LaTeX writing, he will be scored with a 75% multiplier of 20 points, while his MS Word preference will be added by multiplying 25% of the same score.

In the awarding of the congress, some criteria are also applied at the point of converting the number of abstract papers accepted for more fair and qualified elections into full text. In the event that 75% or more of the number of abstracts announced turns into full texts, candidates with a total score of 70 and above will be nominated for 7 awards in 3 categories in total. Here, when the data of the past years are examined, candidates with 80 and above points generally win awards. Within the scope of the relevant regulation; If the conversion rate of the summary texts to the full text is below 75%, only the candidates with the highest scores in 3 categories in total will be awarded with a total score of 80 and above. The relevant regulation includes the desire to award higher degrees instead of multiple awards in order to decrease the interest in academic literature and to have the desired qualifications, especially after the pandemic.
