Tripolis: Sustainability and Mega Change


29 – 30 APRIL 2020

Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aims to organize the “Young Economists Student Congress” and to make this organization, which induces a great interest in many universities all over the country, to become traditional. The congress which is going to be organized on an international scale, will be held in Denizli between 29 – 30 April 2020 with the theme called ” Tripolis: Sustainability and Mega Change”.

“By discussing today, opportunities and dangers need to be analyzed correctly in the scientific world where the future is built. Young researchers should be encouraged to design the future, especially considering that human capital is the largest resource. Therefore, the developments and technological transformations in the world economy should be examined.” 3rd International Student Congress of Young Economists in this context, is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all theoretical and empirical studies examining developments in the world and Turkey.

In the congress, participants can prepare papers in all gel classifications. The sub-branches proposed and expected to work within the relevant classifications are as follows.

The Terms Of Participation

The conditions of participation and the relevant statuses are as follows.

  1. Two different statuses can be attended to the congress.
  2. Preparing a paper as a participant,
  3. Participation in the status of listeners can be achieved without preparing a paper.

It is mandatory for the listeners who will participate with the article 1.b. of the conditions to register via . Listeners who do not complete the participation form will not be accredited and will not be able to participate in the sessions of the invited speakers. To register you can be accredited free of charge via our website or by clicking .

After the acceptance of the full texts of the participants under the same conditions under article 1.a. , they will be automatically accredited by the congress coordinator.

  1. Undergraduate and Master students who are actively continuing their education can present papers at the congress.
  2. In addition, only undergraduate and Master students who have graduated in 2018 – 2019 academic year can submit papers at the congress.
  3. In order to encourage further study in different areas, a participant may take up to 2 papers as author. In addition, a study can consist of up to 2 authors.

Under the general conditions of participation in the congress, the article 1.b. is kindly requested by the audience to fill in and send the Audience Form at  until 10 April 2020.


Abstract Summaries


Abstract summaries should be prepared in a suitable template, which is published in . In abstract submissions;

  • The title of the report

  • the telephone number must be clearly indicated.

The abstract should not exceed 200 words. A maximum of 3 jel codes and keywords should describe the abstracts in the abstracts. Abstracts should be submitted to  in the desired template. Abstract templates and spelling rules can be found at .

Full Text

Full text should be reported, the template published on  should be prepared accordingly. In full text submissions;

  • The title of the report
  • Notification of owner / owner
  • name and surname,
  • University,
  • portion,
  • class,
  • e-mail and
  • telephone numbers must be clearly indicated.

 Full text notification; maximum 25 pages including summary and bibliography. Pamukkale University Journal of Social Sciences should be based on the writing rules of the texts. You can reach the writing rules on template can be found on . Each statement can be submitted by a maximum of 2 people. Paper holders who do not arrive at the full text or send only a summary text will not be able to participate as a participant in the congress. If it is found that the participant’s artixle is also presented to other congress/seminar/conference/workshop organizations; the participant is disqualified from the congress. Presentations will be made in Turkish or English. The duration of each presentation is 20 minutes, including questions and answers. The full text of the papers will be printed on CD and given to all participants. The best papers will be awarded as a result of the evaluation. 


The main academic aim of the congress is to identify qualified undergraduate and Master students and to bring them to our university and city. 12 papers will be awarded in this direction. 4 groups will be formed within the scope of the evaluation. These groups; gold (top 3), silver (4-5-6) and bronze (7-8-9). In addition, in the memory of the recently lost Dr. Yasar Erdinç ‘Finance’ branch will be awarded three papers without ranking. Awards in gold silver and bronze group “NGO / Association / Chambers Academic Incentive Award ”. In addition to the physical prizes, the papers in the gold group will be able to receive one-week free postgraduate training in the areas (quota courses) determined in the Economic Summer Seminars calendar to be held in July 2020.

Nine works with the highest number of points will be awarded. There are two weights in the scoring of these studies. These will be calculated by summing the scores of the full text of the paper and the presentation of the paper. The evaluation of the presentation will include the scoring of the chairman and business people as a result of the objectives of the congress.

In order to ensure transparency in the congress, the scores are declared open. This weighting is done over 100 points and will be calculated as an example.

In accordance with the principle of transparency; if invited business people do not participate in the presentations, the chairman’s score will be multiplied by 0.30. In accordance with the same principle; if the member of the scientific board does not evaluate the study in a timely manner, the regulatory board will evaluate the study.
